Think about the desktop computersyou've seen at work, school, the library, a store, or a friend's house, do all the desktops look the same? Explain? Get pictures of different looking desktop computers.
Not all desktops look the same, because the all have different software and also like physically appearances
Lesson 4 - What are all the buttons, sockets, and slots used for?
Find out what types of drives are on a computer (e.g, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM). Get a picture from the Internet and in "Paint" draw lines/circles and label the drives
Get another picture of a computer with USB Ports and Count the number is USB Portson the computer. Do the same as above and using "Paint" draw lines/circles and label the different Ports.
Lesson 5 - What is inside a desktop computer? 1. Review the OUTSIDE parts of the computer identified in this lesson. Get a picture from the Internet with all parts identified or label them in Paint. Speakers, Monitor, System Unit, Printer, list three external devices, Drives, Mouse, Keyboard, Microphone, and WebCam, Make sure you know the function of each part.

Based on the type of monitor you have, do you follow the steps you learned to clean it correctly? Will you try to clean using proper techniques? With the computer screens in class, is it ok to touch the screens with your fingers?
Lesson 13 - What are some troubleshooting techniques?
Think about times when your computer has had any of the problems described in the lesson. How did you handle the problem?
